Biography:
Rosa trained as a Theatre Designer at Central Saint Martin’s in London,
after studying Photography and Media Studies in Barcelona.
Early projects in Barcelona varied from photography exhibitions to production in animation.
For the last 14 years, collaborating as a set designer and art director, she has worked in both countries on theatre productions, music and corporate videos, events, commercials and TV.
For the last three years she has also worked in arts management developing Catalan arts within the UK and abroad. Covering consultancy and production for various events such as International Networking Event at London Calling 2007 and Catalan Jazz on Tour ’08 Paris - London.
Rosa has created, directed, produced and designed her own shows; visual performances incorporating projections onto changing sets and driven by movement.
Past productions have included, Lorca’s Dreams at The Technis Theatre, Generation Bar at The Cochrane; Not Another Saturday Night at The Place; Your Own at 291 Gallery and Chisenhale Studios, Exits at L’Antic, L’Obrador de la Beckett and Cotxeres Borrell; Places Where I Am at The Place and also in Finland.
